We have been experimenting with the Noto Sans Adlam and Noto Sans Adlam Unjoined fonts, forking and tweaking the fonts in order to provide better cross browser support.
Not all browsers currently render Adlam as RTL. A quick and dirty hack was done in CSS, with a slightly more elegant solution being developed in javascript
Noto Sans Adlam
This version of the font, supports the cursive/joined form of the scripts. Cursive joining requires a recent version of Firefox or Google Chrome with an updated version of harfbuzz.

Both the joined and unjoined versions of the fonts fix some cross platform issues relating to mark positioning.
